文献摘要

A 53-year-old woman presented in 2001 with a 10-month history of a pruritic rash of the thighs. On physical examination, pink, Darier-like papules 3–5 mm in size with fine surface scaling were seen (Fig. 1a), with an erythematous, marginating rash in both groins, which had a subtle edging of scale. The eruption was thought to be eczematous with candidal intertrigo, therefore betamethasone 0.1% ointment and clotrimazole 1% cream were prescribed. Mycology from skin scrapings was negative.
